DVD Review - What the Bleep Do We Know

A new type of film which was released on DVD, in the UK, in 2005.

Part story, part documentary, with inspiring visual effects and animations, is shows us how we can become the creative force in our own lives instead of feeling a victim of circumstances. Be prepared for a radical departure from convention. The film demands an openness of mind and greatness of thought.

A book of the same name will be available in book shops from 1 November 2005. Both DVD and book may be pre-ordered on line. The web site www.whatthebleep.com is well worth a visit and offers help for starting up study groups with like minded people, the Bleep News, exclusive e-cards and many other exciting and innovative ideas for involvement.

Jacquie’s Comments

I’ve now viewed this film three times on American DVD. The first time some of the American accents deflected my attention from the story line but by the third time I was completely involved in the film. On each occasion I’ve been left with the knowledge that, as each day dawns, I am a new person, so the only thing that really matters is living the day and the moment. Non-attachment to the past, even yesterday, allows me to be flexible, open minded and to welcome the new.

As a widow or widower it’s easy to feel a victim of life’s circumstances but this film shows how anyone, in any circumstances, can start to create for themselves the life that they would like.
